Well, at least when it comes to getting to and around FloydFest… All directions below are from Floyd, so first, you need to know how to get to Floyd – and you’ll be glad you did.

From the only Floyd town Stop Light:Take 221 South (4.1 miles)
Left on Canning Factory Road (0.1 miles)
Right on Blackridge Road (7 miles)
Left on Blue Ridge Parkway North (0.4 miles)
Right on Route 720 (Rock Castle Gorge Road) – dirt road (approx. 1 mile)
Enter Festival Site

From the only Floyd town Stop Light:Take Route 8 South (6 miles)
Left on BRP ramp road (0.2 miles)
Right on Blue Ridge Parkway South (6.2 miles)
Left on Route 720 (Rock Castle Gorge Road) – dirt road (approx. 1 mile)

Right on Blackridge Road (7 miles)
Travel to where Blackridge T’s into Blue Ridge Parkway.
Cross over BRP to Rock Church Road.
OFF-SITE Park and Camp is 1/10 of a mile on the LEFT.

Miilepost 171, take left on Rock Church Road

Directions to the Power to the People Lot
From town of Floyd:
From the only Floyd town Stop Light:
Take 221 South (4.1 miles)
Left on Canning Factory Road (0.1 miles)
Right on Blackridge Road (7 miles)
Travel to where Blackridge T’s into Blue Ridge Parkway.
Cross over BRP to Rock Church Road.
Drive to the end of Rock Church Road and take a left onto Willis Road.
Take a left on Belcher Mountain Rd., then a quick immediate right onto Helms Rd.
The Power to the People lot is on your right. You will see signs
Alternate route from town of Floyd:
From the only Floyd town Stop Light continue on Route 8 South to the entrance ramp to Blue Ridge Parkway.
Take an immediate right onto Blue Ridge Parkway. Travel 8 miles and take a left on Rock Church Rd. Drive to the end of Rock Church Road and take a left onto Willis Road.
Take a left on Belcher Mountain Rd., then a quick immediate right onto Helms Rd.
The Power to the People lot is on your right. You will see signs
For the safety and enjoyment of our FloydFest attendees, we’d like to remind you that the Blue Ridge Parkway is a federally-maintianed driving route. As such, it is subject to increased traffic safety maneuvers by Federal Park officials during the four day period of FloydFest. Please exercise caution when accessing the festival from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and obey all traffic safety regulations.

Vendors and ALL Commercial Vehicles
The Blue Ridge Parkway usage restrictions do not allow commercial vehicles. The directions bellow route all vehicles to the site via state access roads. Please follow these directions or risk a Parkway violation.

Take 221 South (4.1 miles)
Left on Canning Factory Road (0.1 miles)
Right on Blackridge Road (approx. 7 miles)
Left on Fairview Church Road (immediately before the Parkway) – (less than 0.1 mile)
Right on Little Road (only 1 block long)
Cross over the Blue Ridge Parkway
Continue on 720 (Rock Castle Gorge Road) – dirt road (approx. 1 mile)
