On-Site Parking
Following are ON-SITE Parking passes only.
- Please note, everyone must also have a General Admission or a VIP Admission ticket in addition to the parking pass in order to enter the site.
One parking pass is needed for one vehicle. If everyone in your group has a General or VIP Admission ticket *and* everyone arrives together in one vehicle, you only need one parking pass. So, purchase a parking pass in group to green up and save some green!

| By our standards, an RV is a Motor vehicle or trailer equipped with living space and amenities found in a home. Standard cars may not purchase an RV space and set up tents in the vicinity. You must have a “recreational vehicle” to purchase an RV parking ticket. VW Vanagons (and other large VANS) that HAVE such amenities are considered RV. | New in 2012! The V-dub park and camp pass offers pull-in park-and-camp spaces in the Global Village area. This ticket is for VOLKSWAGEN VANS (of any sort) ONLY. You must be driving or riding in a Volkswagen to enter the festival site with this ticket. | This is a very limited ticket that includes on site parking and commemorative FloydFest memorabilia, including: FloydFest 2011 poster, FloydFest 2012 bumper sticker. Note – the discounted X-spot parking pass does not include admission and must be purchased in addition to a regular general admission FloydFest ticket. | We offer discounted parking passes to our attendees with disabilities, as well as an onsite support team to assist you in more easily navigating our site. On-Site RV Parking
Our on-site RV spaces are limited and sell out well in advance. The dimensions of your RV must be submitted on purchase, in order for our parking team to best accommodate. Those with an RV pass may enter the site at 9am on Wednesday, July 25th. Additional passengers in the RV are welcome to arrive Wednesday as well, but all those traveling in the RV must have a ticket.
Parking FAQs
Does everyone in the vehicle need an on-site parking pass to get into the festival with the driver?
NO. Only one parking pass per vehicle is required. If your general-admission ticket-holding friends are able to score a ride with you- great!
We have purchased on-site parking, can we camp next to our vehicle?
Generally NO – camping NEXT to your vehicle is a safety concern. The designated camping areas are a short walking distance away from the parking area. We will have folks on site to help you transport your camping gear to your site if needed.
We have purchased on-site parking, and have a cushy set up in the back of our truck. Can we sleep IN our truck?
SURE – as long as you are not in the way of any other vehicles trying to pull in and out of their parking slot, AND as long as you have no gear on the ground- again, this pass is for vehicle parking only.
I have an on-site parking pass – will I be able to drive in and out of the site during the weekend?
Sure. When you enter the site, please inform our parking personnel that you will need to be able to leave the site, and they will help you park in our short-term parking area closer to the main entrance.
We have a VW bus – if we buy an RV pass, can we park in the RV Lot?
Yes, sure, but we have a better deal for you.. New in 2012 we have the V-Dub Park and Camp Pass. A limited number of these are available to those with any kind of VW van, and include designated park-and-camp spots in the Global Village Area
I have a VW bus, will I be able to fit in the regular parking slot on-site?
YES (as long as it is not customized and expanded beyond the standard VW bus dimensions. And you’re welcome to stay in it, but again, remember, you may not spill out of the van- no camping gear on the ground!
We have on-site parking, and we’re traveling from very far away – what will happen if we arrive very early in the morning, like 4am?
Sorry, you will not be able to enter the site from 2am – 8am. Unless you made arrangements to stay in town overnight, you might want to reserve a camping spot at a nearby campground. See our accommodations page for campgrounds in the area.
I have an on-site parking pass. We plan to come in one vehicle on Friday, but want to come in another vehicle on Saturday – is this possible?
NO – parking passes are NOT TRANSFERABLE! Once assigned, they are only valid for the vehicle they were originally designated for.
